Police Scotland have concluded their investigation of an assault that took place Thursday 8 November in St Andrews, finding no criminality.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said, “Inquiries into a report of an assault on a 22-year-old woman in the Doubledykes area of St Andrews around 1.15 am on Thursday 8 November have concluded. Following an investigation officers are satisfied that there was no criminality.”
On Thursday morning around 1.15am, a 22-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted on Doubledykes Road, leading to a full police investigation.
The area around Kinburn playpark, next to the St Andrews museum, was cordoned off Thursday until 3pm while police investigated.
