A pier walk will be held today to commemorate the victims of the Paris terror attacks that took place yesterday (Friday 13 November) in which at least 120 people were killed.
The event will begin at St Salvator’s Quad and continue along down the pier.
The event is being hosted by the St Andrews French society.
On the event’s Facebook page, the society said: “In the light of last night’s attacks on Paris, gather in St. Salvador’s quad at 4 to process down to the pier in silence and pray for the victims and the wounded, for their friends and families, for the City of Lights, for France but also for humanity.
“This procession is in loving support of the French community here but is in no way limited to its breadth. It is a movement of love, prayer and respect that has no boundaries.
“Bring yourself, bring your loved ones, unite, pray for Paris.”
