A water main has burst on Largo Road, leaving some in St Andrews without water.
The incident appears to have occurred whilst builders worked on the construction of the new Marks and Spencer and Premier Inn. The site became flooded this morning, with Scottish Water attending the scene.
A spokesperson for Scottish Water said that customers may experience “loss of water supply, low pressure and discoloured water. A squad is on site to carry out the necessary repairs and will restore supplies as soon as possible.”
The letting agency Rollos has told tenants that if the main is not fixed by tonight, they will provide bottled water.
