St Andrews represented at the Dunhill

Many St Andrews students will play the Old Course and imagine some of the shots that the greats of the game of golf have also played. Yet, one hugely talented golfer got to live the dream by playing in the Alfred Dunhill Links Competition alongside some of the great pros. George Burns, a first year from Glasgow who plays off a handicap of +3, was invited to play in the annual tournament due to his status as a leading Scottish amateur.

Although his team did not qualify for the last round, Burns played terrifically and showed why he may have a bright future ahead of him.
