Physics students have seen their grades changed after the department made a mistake in its calculations.

The Saint understands that the marks for PH4028, Advanced Quantum Mechanics, were lower than they should have been.

A University spokesperson said: “There was an error in one of the calculations used to report results, which was subsequently corrected a short time later. All students have been notified and the correct results are visible on students’ academic records.”
