A man has been arrested in relation to the recent sexual assaults in St Andrews.
The 30-year-old will appear in Cupar Sherriff Court tomorrow, Tuesday 20 May.
The assaults, which took place on 9 and 10 April, led to women being advised not to walk home alone at night.
A police spokesman said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a 30-year-old man is in custody in connection with two serious sexual assaults which took place in St Andrews last month.
“Officers would like to thank the public for their considerable assistance with this investigation.”
