Liveblog: NUS referendum Question Time

There’s less than twenty four hours left now until voting opens on whether St Andrews rejoins the NUS after almost forty years. If you can’t make it to the NUS referendum Question Time in Venue 1 this evening, The Saint will be liveblogging from the event.

The six panellists will be split into three groups –  two speakers for the Yes side: NUS President Liam Burns plus a Yes spokesperson; two for the No side: St Andrews student Ben Adams plus a No spokesperson; and two independent panellists: Marco Biagi, a MSP and former St Andrews sabbatical officer, and Peter McColl, the Rector of Edinburgh University.

All panellists will be given a chance to speak before the floor is opened to questions from the audience.
